‘Wonder’ : NUS Arts Festival

With curiosity, comes wonder. Wonder provides the motivation for us humans to assign an invisible order to something so ungraspable, as well as inspire artistic intuition within us. Scientists and artists alike began embracing this unpredictable entity, forming theories and art, which has shaped human history since.

Inspired by wonder from this invisible order, this concept seeks to capture this essence within its designs, and that what you see is not necessarily what it is.

Taking inspiration from pressure fluctuations most commonly seen in waves, the word “Wonder” is incorporated within the wave design itself, forming a subtle yet striking look representative of how wonder is formed by fluctuating elements in one’s life, and how these elements are shaped by an randomness that forms the invisible order of life.
